Kinzume has no accounts, no ads and no third-party SDKs. Nothing here is sold, shared or used to build a profile of you, because none of it identifies you in the first place.
If Share anonymous usage is on (Settings, on by default, off in one tap), the game sends gameplay events to a server we run ourselves. Each event carries:
| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| An install identifier | A random ID created on first launch. It is not your Apple ID, your device ID or your advertising ID, and it means nothing outside this game. |
| What happened | A level started, sealed or abandoned; a dead end reached; a hint, lens, relaxed mode or skip used; a Keys pack viewed, bought or cancelled; a theme picked. |
| Context for it | World and level number, moves taken, the level's par, stars earned, how long it took, how many undos, the app version, and whether the build is a test build. |
Events are deleted automatically 24 months after they arrive. That deletion is part of the server, not a promise someone has to remember to keep.
Progress, settings and Keys balance live on your device, and in your own iCloud if you have it enabled — that copy is Apple's, and we cannot read it. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple; we receive confirmation that a pack was bought, never your payment details. Game Center is optional and only used for leaderboards if you sign in.
If you share a level you built with the Architect, the level's layout and its share code are stored so other players can open it. A shared level contains no text and nothing about you.
Kinzume is rated 4+ and is safe for children: no accounts, no chat, no ads, no links out except this site and Apple's own pages.
Turn off Share anonymous usage in Settings and collection stops immediately; anything still queued on the device is discarded rather than sent. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. To ask what has been collected under a given install identifier, or to have it deleted, write to awooche@gmail.com — the identifier is shown in the app under Settings, at the bottom, so you can quote it.
If what the game collects ever changes, this page changes with it, and the date above moves. It is kept in the same repository as the code that does the collecting, so the two cannot drift apart.
